P6Kidz@Play has grown from a home based play-school over 30 years in Maynooth Co. Kildare. During this period of growth the founder Evelyn Reilly changed and developed the business to its current location in Beaufield, Maynooth. This development linked with both demand for quality early childhood education in Maynooth.

In 2016 Jessica McGrath daughter of Evelyn took over as owner and general manager of Kidz@Play. Jessica’s experience is unique as she was born into the family business attending playschool at just 4 week of age with her mum Evelyn.

Senior staff member Sarah Ginty is the manager of the Maynooth service. Sarah has over 15 years experience with Kidz@Play and holds management and supervision qualifications specific to early years.

Jess is also committed to the development of  quality early childhood care and education and matched her practical skills and experience with an academic qualification of honors degree in Montessori teaching.Jess has also gained experience in working as a tutor for children with autism planning and supporting their learning and development. Jess has managed large summer camps in the summer months for Bright Horizons.

The development of the business also brought a staff team who are all trained and qualified in early years, with current staff with Kidz@Play for several years.Both the Maynooth and Kilcock teams have taken on training and self evaluation through the Síolta Quality Assurance Programme. All staff have undertaken Aistear in Action workshops.Jessica believes the commitment to continued professional development by the Kidz@Play team is central to building a quality early childhood care and education service.

Kidz@Play Playschool is well established in the town of Maynooth and its location is suitable to all families whether driving or walking. Local school buses collect and drop off national school children to and from the local schools and this service is used for the after school children attending Kidz@Play.

The testimonial of local families to the quality of education and care in Kidz@Play can be seen in returning family and friends over the years with several parents who attended Kidz@Play themselves now sending their own children.

Within the Maynooth community Kidz@Play have made solid links with local primary schools and support the children’s transitions to national school. Kidz@Play also support the local Post Primary school through fundraising events such as cake sales and sponsorship for the Musical and sponsored walk.Transition year students are always welcome in Kidz@Play during work experience. Kidz@Play continue to improve quality through an excellent inspectors report and a commitment to the provision of a partnership approach with parents and families of children attending Kidz@Play.

P5Kidz@Play Kilcock

Kidz@Play expanded in 2010 to provide a playschool in Scoil Coca Naofa. This central location is ideal for all children in the Kilcock and surrounding areas with a purpose designed large space for the playschool housed within the national school. Kidz@Play is now settled well into the Kilcock area and work in co-operation to the national school and has developed an excellent relationship with children, families and the school team.

Kidz@Play Kilcock offer two sessions,morning and afternoon providing ECCE free government Scheme places and places for non ECCE children.

The playschool has also expanded  in 2015 to include after school care up to 6.00 pm in Scoil Chóca Naofa.The staff team have all gained experience in Kidz@Play Maynooth before starting out in Kilcock and the team hold  honors degree and FETAC Level 6 in early childhood care and education.

Kidz@Play Kilcock continues to grow with a commitment to the provision of quality care and education for the children in the Kilcock area.
